And The Wait Continues

Our office had its general assembly earlier where we thought the retrenchment was going to be announced at. We got our food, sat ourselves down, ate and waited. A few minutes later, our GM started his speech about the state of the Philippine economy and how it's affecting out company. He mentioned his relocation, expressed his thanks, and bid us an early farewell. He gave the mic to the dude replacing him, who just basically said the same things, and used the word 'restructuring' several times. I thought to myself, isn't that one of the reasons why I left TTc? The company lawyer asked, "What do you mean, exactly, by 'restructuring'?

Bingo.

Mr. S just said that if there are openings anywhere else, people are sure to be moved.

That's it. No anything else.

Huh.

You could feel the confusion slowly enveloping the 7th floor.

We dispersed right after that, and we remain confused.

Our HR manager went AWOL right after the GA.

What the hell is happening?...!
